About Merchology's New Building
We have officially moved in and opened the doors of our brand new headquarters in Plymouth, Minnesota! Our new home is just a short distance away from our past home in Minnetonka, Minnesota, but we are loving getting to know our new neighborhood and new neighbors!
Merchology acquired the new space in July of 2021, and the building has undergone major renovations throughout the past year. Renovations included building out offices for the leadership team, creating an open layout office space, a modern community kitchen, multiple dining and break areas, a lounge, and an expansive production area. The space also includes multiple loading docks, and is also home to our very own sustainable brand, Zusa!
If you follow us on social media, you know that we love to plan fun social events for our MerchFam to enjoy, and we love coming together as a team for company BBQs, Beer 30 Friday Happy Hours, all-company quarterly meetings, and so much more. We needed a space that would allow room for every employee to join in on the fun, and of course, space for the games, grilling, and socializing that come with it. Our new headquarters includes an amazing community kitchen and dining area that we're already putting to good use!
We brought the Merchology brand to life with art installations that proudly display our core values, the meaning behind our logo and tagline, and our brand colors. Our Core Values are a statement piece in the office space, and our Mission and Vision statements can't be missed in the main gathering area. We love that these two important pieces remind us every day of our goals and the reasons we do what we do!
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Plymouth's Mayor Wojse
There was no better way to celebrate the grand opening of our new headquarters than a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the mayor of our new town, Mayor Wojse! The city council also joined in on the celebration, and our entire MerchFam was able to watch this special moment. Our CEO, Ally Ward Delgado, and President, Andrew Ward, cut the beautiful blue ribbon with a pair of extra-special scissors, and we all toasted to our new home!
To celebrate our new home-away-from-home, the MerchFam shared root beer floats and commemorated this special day with a construction-themed photo booth. As a community that prioritizes our get-togethers, our first celebration in the new office was naturally filled with laughter, ping pong, goofy photos, and of course, lots of chatting.
We're so excited to win as a team in our beautiful new office! Cheers to the many new memories and years of growth to come!
