Notebook Customization Options

Moleskine 100% original custom projects really let you start from scratch and build your ideal personalized notebooks from the ground up. In most cases, if you can dream it, you can do it. Here's a quick rundown to give you some ideas and get you started on the path to your dream notebooks.

Pick a Notebook Size

This will serve as the canvas for your masterpiece. Start by picking the perfect size notebook for your application, and remember, the larger the notebook, the more room for customization. Here's a look at the standard Moleskine notebook sizes:

• Pocket Size Moleskine Notebooks: 3.5" x 5.5"
• Medium Moleskine Notebooks: 4.5" x 7.0"
• Large Moleskine Notebooks: 5" x 8.25" 
• Extra Large Moleskine Notebooks: 7.5" x 9.75"
• XXL Moleskine Notebooks: 8.5" x 11"

Select a Color, Cover Material, and Layout

Now that you've got the perfect notebook size nailed down, you can start making these notebooks your own. Start by picking the material you'd like to use, the most common options are hardcover notebooks and softcover notebooks. Next, choose the perfect color for your notebooks. You can customize the colors for both the cover and elastic band. Lastly, pick the right notebook layout for your application. Custom layout options include ruled, dotted, squared grid, and blank.

Add Your Company Logo or Custom Design

This is where the fun really starts. You can add just about anything to the cover of your notebooks including a corporate logo, team logo, event logo, or custom design of any kind. Your logo or design can also be added to Moleskine notebooks in a variety of ways including screen printing, pad printing, debossing, and hot foil stamping depending on the cover material you choose. Additional Personalization Ideas

Again, we want to stress that your options are essentially endless when it comes to customizing your Moleskine notebooks. However, we'll get you started with some ideas for interior customization and add-ons.

• Add a Unique Paper Band: this band goes around the outside of your journal once it's finished and is the first thing people see when they receive their custom journals.
• Personalize Interior Pages: customize the inside pages of your notebooks with anything from calendars and planners to a personalized message or additional design.

Limitations of 100% Original Custom Moleskine Projects

It’s important to note that bringing your fully custom vision to life takes some added time and resources. 100% original custom Moleskine projects take 90 – 120 days to arrive at your door, depending on the level of customization. It should also be noted that we only offer fully custom Moleskine notebooks in large order sizes. For hardcover and soft cover notebooks you’ll need to order at least 3,000 units to qualify for a 100% original custom Moleskine project, and for Volant and Cahier notebooks the minimum is 10,000 notebooks. If that’s too many notebooks for you, fear not! You can still customize Moleskine notebooks & journals with your logo in order sizes as small as 25 pieces with our other collections.
