What a year! We can't believe 2022 is coming to a close, and we couldn't wrap it up without looking back on our favorite moments that this year held. 2022 held some of our largest accomplishments as a company, and we can't wait to recap and share them all with you one last time. Every year, we try to be as innovative and impactful as possible, and with your support, we've reached our goals again. From volunteering to new brand partnerships, to company culture and events, it's time to check out 2022's greatest moments!
Merchology's Brand Refresh!
Since the launch of Merchology in 2014, we’ve been known for putting your company’s branding on world-class retail brands that you trust and love. Due to the dramatic growth of our business and the evolution of how we service and deliver your merch, we thought our overall brand look and feel needed a refresh. After all, we are the logo experts… so it is time to upgrade our own!
Our new logo icon is composed of three hearts, arranged together in a shape that reflects an atom. This “Triple Hearts Atom” design represents the three considerations that make a project a success in the corporate gifting industry and at Merchology. These three hearts represent you, your people, and your purpose; which altogether are what give Merchology our true purpose as a company! We are excited to bring our refreshed brand to life, as we continue to help you do the same with your organization’s branding.

Merchology Makes Newsweek's Fastest Growing Online Shops list for 2022!
We are honored to have been named a Fastest Growing Online Shop by Newsweek for the third year! Merchology is proud to rank among some of the most well-known companies in the multi-brand fashion category. Winners were judged against many criteria, including sales, traffic, and website technical details. This list includes many other retail powerhouses and represents our commitment to making our website as easy to navigate and enjoyable as possible.
Merchology Named a Minnesota Family Business Award Finalist
We are incredibly honored to have been named a finalist for the 2022 Minnesota Family Business Award! This award, presented by Twin Cities Business Magazine, recognizes outstanding family-owned businesses in Minnesota and highlights the value these businesses add to the local economy. We are proud to be a family-owned business, and love celebrating this accomplishment alongside other Minnesota companies!
Zusa Becomes Carbon-Neutral Certified
Sustainability is at the forefront for Zusa, and this year, we reached a huge milestone in our sustainability efforts. Zusa became a Carbon-Neutral Certified Business, meaning the brand has achieved carbon neutrality by making significant sustainable changes in every step of its process, from manufacturing to shipping. Leadership Changes at Merchology
Our previous CMO, Ally Ward Delgado, recently transitioned to CEO, while Andrew Ward, our previous CRO, transitioned to President! This change in leadership will take our company to new heights, and we are excited for the future with these two amazing leaders!
Dick Ward, our trusted leader and co-founder, will remain on-board as the Chairman of Merchology and we’re unbelievably appreciative of his leadership and vision for the company since its inception.
While entrusting the reigns of Merchology to his children, Dick will also be leading our sister brand, Zusa, through its company growth. From gaining carbon-neutral certification to expanding the styles available, Zusa is driven to offer eco-friendly employee gifts and company uniforms around the world.
Merchology Giveback Events
Our Giveback Teams always ensure we have amazing volunteering and donating opportunities on our calendar. Across our three locations, our staff is committed to our communities and helping those around us. In 2022, we held multiple charity donation drives:
- A sock drive with donations going to StreetWorks in Minnesota, Project150 in Nevada, and Susquehannah Harbor Safe Haven Homeless Shelter in Pennsylvania.
- Two food drives with donations going to Second Harvest Heartland in Minnesota, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, and Pennsylvania's Ecumenical Food Pantry
- A school drive with donations going to the Minneapolis Public Schools and the CAIU Educational Excellence in Pennsylvania
- A toy drive with donations going to Toys for Tots
Volunteer Experiences
Our MerchFam is also extremely passionate about getting out into our communities and making a difference, so we always include time in our schedules to do so. A few of our favorite volunteering events in 2022 included:

Merchology Company Culture
It's no secret that we like to have a little fun here and there, and our amazing Social Team ensures that we do! Throughout the year, there are many events that our team looks forward to. These events are great for getting to know each other and new team members, and great opportunities to celebrate our wins as a company!

The MerchFam at all 3 locations love to celebrate each other's hard work and kick back from time to time. Whether getting together to dance the afternoon away for Cinco de Mayo or bringing individual dishes in for a all-hands-on-deck potluck; the employees at Merchology do it right!
New Brand Partnerships
We're here to bring you the latest and greatest in custom merch, and that means always being on the lookout for the latest and greatest corporate merch brands! This year, we added many new awesome brands for you to add your custom logo, and here are a few of our favorites:
Merchology's Two New Facilities!
The moments of the year that probably stand out the most to us were moving into two new facilities during the same month of June 2022 – our brand new Merchology Headquarters in Plymouth, MN, and a larger space in Reno, NV! We loved settling into both of our new “homes” over the course of the year, which is a lot of new space! Together, the two new spaces total 110,000 square feet of warehouse and office. Check out the exciting addition of brand new logo embroidery machines in our Reno location below!
In August, we celebrated the grand opening of our new headquarters with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and in October, we hosted an open house for Merchology employees and their families with an Oktoberfest theme. We even invited in a Bavarian band to play authentic German folk music! These two new facilities, along with our 2021 Pennsylvania facility, dramatically increase our capacity for customers and also offer our team members a modern, cutting-edge work environment. We are ready for our next stage of growth!
